Music
At North Star we see that Music should be made accessible to all of our students. In order to do this, the curriculum that we use serves to encourage participation and build on the confidence of students. Our curriculum is built around engaging students in music by focusing on creating a curiosity around sounds, rhythms and expressions in music.
The curriculum that we use is from Oak academy which has a clear focus on a strong commitment to musical education. The team supports specialist and non-specialist music educators.
